Boise School District fifth and sixth graders recently put their problem-solving skills to the test during this year’s Math Meet, tackling challenging team and individual competitions. Using real-world wildland fire data and creative thinking, students demonstrated impressive collaboration, critical thinking, and enthusiasm for mathematics. Congratulations to the many schools whose teams earned top honors! 🎉

Boise School District Students Named Candidates for U.S. Presidential Scholars Program

Boise School District is proud to announce that 23 students from Boise schools have been selected as candidates for the prestigious U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, the highest number of candidates from any school district in Idaho.

Boise School Board Selects Wendy Johnson as Next Superintendent, Effective July 1, 2026

The Boise School District Board of Trustees has taken a significant step in its leadership transition by voting to offer Wendy Johnson, the District’s current Deputy Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, the position of Superintendent. Johnson has accepted the offer.
