I received my undergraduate degree in 1982 in Elementary Education with an emphasis in special education from Central Michigan University. I started teaching in 1984 in Caldwell where I taught special education and 2nd grade.  I began teaching at Jefferson in 1995.   I worked as a teacher in special education in the Resource room, taught 6th, 5th and have been in 3rd grade since 2005. My continual educational training in technology, math, and reading has been an asset with the growth and changes in education.  Third grade is a pivotal year for students.  They are learning to be responsible for their work, are reading to learn, and learning with others.  I look forward to a great year with your children as we learn and grow together.
